I wanted to be good enough to be picked by a publisher. It seems so silly now, yet I know many others felt that way too and some probably still do.
My mindset along with my processes and ability have changed. I’ve upskilled dramatically since I pressed publish in 2014. With 40 books, novellas, and short stories written, along the way I became a USA Today Bestselling Author.
I also banded together with my 3 bestie writing buddies to co-host the SPA Girls podcast (Self Publishing Authors Podcast). It’s a show where we find all the experts in self-publishing and get them to share their knowledge and amazing tips with our listeners. Not only do we run courses and speak at conferences, we also get to meet awesome authors.
